Celebrating Six Years in Executive Search — With a Fresh Look

This month marks six years since Gobu Associates first opened its doors (first in New York and then with a final relocation to Fort Lauderdale in 2022), and as we reflect on the relationships we have built and the talent we have helped place, we are proud to share an exciting update. In honor of this milestone, we have redesigned our Marquee Placements page to more clearly showcase the scope and quality of our work. The refreshed Marquee Placements section now includes three distinct tabs:

• Candidates Journey – A look at how we’ve supported exceptional candidates in securing roles across our hundreds of placements the firm has made since our founder, Mo Toueg, stared in search almost three decades ago. These stories reflect the breadth of industries we serve and the caliber of talent we represent.
• Client Testimonials – Stories that reflect our perspective on key client partnerships. These narratives showcase the types of roles we have filled—from Corporate Finance, Strategy and Operations to Product, Digital, and Transformation—and how we have supported growth at pivotal moments. They also showcase some examples of candidates who have become clients, the ultimate compliment of what we consider to be “best in class”.

In addition to the new page, we have enjoyed posting relevant surveys on LinkedIn. These quick, anonymous polls explore industry trends, leadership behaviors, career shifts, and hiring dynamics. They help us stay aligned with what candidates and hiring leaders are thinking in real time—and allow us to share back relevant insights to our community.
